In each post The GloveTrotters explore places we’ve been by sharing our experiences including Fun Facts, Movies and tons of Pictures that were taken on location. We’ve explored the “hoodoos” of Bryce Canyon, walked the streets of Rome, Boston and Kuala Lumpur, explored the coast of Maine, swam with the Manatees in Florida and hiked the Great Smoky Mountains.
In particular we want to share our love for our home state of North Carolina. The Tar Heel state has something for everyone from some of the worlds greatest beaches and coastlines like the Outer Banks to the “Land of the Waterfalls” in the western part of the state. For urban entertainment there are two great cities in Raleigh and Charlotte and nothing can beat the array of outdoor activities available.

Our love of travel stems from a passion for seeing unique cultures, people and places outside of our day-to-day lives. The GloveTrotters have never been back again to any place we’ve ever visited despite incredible temptation (Sedona, Germany, Chinese Lantern Festival) not because they were disappointing but rather because there a simply too many places we’ve yet to see and experience. Though the travel restrictions related to covid has hampered some of our travelling we have high hopes for where our future travels will take us.
